2. The following are the weights of quails at 4 weeks of age used for certain experiment:
60, 33, 85, 52, 65, 84, 77, 65, 57, 74, 71, 81, 80, 45, 41
Calculate: mean, mode, median, variance, standard deviation, standard error.
3. In an experiment intended to study the effect of caccidian parasite infection on growth of rabbits, the
following results were obtained, which represent weight gains of infected and uninfected rabbits in 10
weeks period:

4. A group of 15 calves were allotted to three groups equally and randomly. Each group was fed on a different ration A, B, C and the increases in weights (kg) during a certain period were:
Find out the ANOVA table and test the hypothesis that the three rations are equal in their effects.

5. In a study of the effect of dietary component (X) on plasma lipids composition (Y), the following data were obtained from a sample of 10 experimental animals:
a. Calculate the linear regression equation for the above results.
b. Predict the plasma lipids composition in case those values of dietary component are 30, 50, and 25.
c. Calculate the correlation coefficient_____________________________________________________
